We evaluated several architects before selecting RARDO to fully renovate our apartment near Sitges, and now with renovations complete, we know we made the right choice. We originally had a specific design in mind, but Gerardo, the owner of RARDO, created a far better design to maximize the space. Throughout the design process he was flexible and patient with our many ideas and questions. He planned every detail carefully and explained complex technical concepts in ways we could understand. He also helped us to select our building contractor, Llorenç Reixach, an outstanding professional to partner with. Since we were living in Belgium during the renovation, we relied on Gerardo to oversee the work locally and involve us when key decisions were needed. The arrival Covid-19 created unprecedented challenges including work stoppage and material delays, and we were unable to travel to Spain during the final stage of renovation from March to June due to border closures. Gerardo and team endured significant stress during that period, but they remained dedicated to their clients and provided us with periodic updates and videos of progress. When we were finally able to return to Spain, it was a tremendous relief and joy to see the transformation complete. The apartment was originally a cramped, one-bedroom space with the kitchen in a corner and outdated flooring and fixtures. Now, it’s a light-filled, stylish studio space with large open-plan kitchen and maximized sea views through giant sliding glass doors. We highly recommend RARDO to anyone seeking top-quality reformation of their home!
